We are a Pentecostal church affiliated with the Church of God in Cleveland Tennessee.

We believe in five foundational Christian doctrines:

1) The inerrancy and infallibility of the Bible

2) The virgin birth and complete deity of Christ

3) The atoning sacrifice of Christ's death for the sins of the world

4) The literal resurrection of the body

5) Christ's second coming in bodily form to earth

Our church first opened in the Armuchee community in a mobile chapel in 1979 and was formally organized in 1980 with twelve adult members and four children. The current church building was completed in 1987. The Lord has blessed us richly over the years through powerful, spiritual Bible-based preaching from Rev. Charles M. Izell.

When Rev. Izell was called to preach, he earnestly sought the Lord's will for his ministry through prayer and fasting. He told no one about where the Lord was leading him to start a new church, yet in 1978 a senior pastor told him it was time to begin his ministry to the Armuchee community. Three Pentecostal churches had previously been attempted in Armuchee but none had succeeded. The Lord promised Rev. Izell that as long as he was faithful to Him, the church would prosper.
